SYMPOSIUM - Thermal based techniques for materials and components analysis: applications and perspectives

ICEM brings together internationally recognized experts and young researchers in an effort to exchange ideas in different topics having the common link "Experimental Mechanics". ICEM acts also as a platform for establishing connections between different research teams that are trying to build and develop future scientific collaboration.
The proposed symphosium is organized by Francesca Curà and Raffaella Sesana, members of THExOR research group. Non-destructive testing and evaluation techniques, dedicated to structural health monitoring, damage assessment, defect detection are of great interest for industrial and civil applications. In this symposium a particular focus is dedicated to techniques based on the analysis of thermal emission and thermal response of material and components.
